If you're applying for a Cycle2Work or technology voucher scheme in Salary Extras and receive an error message stating that the benefit takes you below the minimum wage, this means your application would reduce your salary below the national minimum wage.

This typically happens if your salary is too low or if your salary details in Salary Extras are out of date. To resolve this, follow the steps below:

⚠️Important: To ensure your application processes correctly, it's important to enter your salary details accurately.

  1. Log in to the web version of Salary Extras.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right.

  3. Select Personal Details then enter the verification code sent via email.

  4. Check and update the following as required:

    • Annual salary.

    • Contracted weekly hours.

    • Hourly rate.
