Approve or reject a scheme application

How to approve or reject an employee’s salary sacrifice scheme application on the benefits platform.

When an employee applies for a salary sacrifice scheme via Salary Extras, you must review and either approve or reject their application before they can receive the benefit.

Follow the steps below:


👩‍💼 Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log in to the Admin Platform

  2. Click the Schemes tab

  3. Select Your Benefits

  4. Click on the relevant scheme

  5. Navigate to the Applications section

  6. From the filter options, select Awaiting Approval

  7. Find the relevant application and tick the checkbox on the left

  8. From the Multiple Actions dropdown menu, select the appropriate action (approve or reject)


📧 What Happens Next?

Once you’ve completed the action, the employee will automatically receive an email notifying them of the outcome.


Tip: Double-check the application details before approving or rejecting to ensure accuracy.
