Error: 'You have exceeded the maximum allowance'

I'm trying to purchase holidays but getting an error that I've exceeded the maximum allowance.

When you attempt to purchase additional holidays via Salary Extras, you may receive an error that you've exceeded the maximum allowance. This usually happens when your details are incorrect.

To resolve this, follow the steps below:

⚠️Important: To ensure your application processes correctly, it's important to enter your salary details accurately.

  1. Log in to the web version of Salary Extras.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right.

  3. Select Personal Details then enter the verification code sent via email.

  4. Check and update the following as required:

    • Annual salary.

    • Contracted weekly hours.

    • Hourly rate.

Once your details are correct, you can proceed to select the number of holidays you wish to purchase.

If the Holiday Entitlement field is greyed out, you need to contact your HR team to update your records. If the error persists, speak with your employer to confirm how much holiday entitlement you're allowed to purchase.
